India claimed their third Champions Trophy after beating New Zealand by four wickets in a nail-biting final at the Dubai International Stadium. Captain Rohit Sharma played a key role, scoring 76 runs off 83 balls to stabilize India's chase of 252. His 105-run stand for the first wicket with Shubman Gill set India on course to victory.
Even after losing key wickets, including Virat Kohli for a single run, India's lower order was robust. Ravindra Jadeja scored the win with a boundary in the final overs. This is India's second ICC title within nine months and makes them a powerful force in cricket on the international front.
