Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is advancing its vision to create an accessible and comprehensive EV charging ecosystem across the country. The company has committed to installing nearly 600 fast public EV chargers nationwide by 2030, with 50 stations expected to be operational by the end of 2025. These charging stations cater to a wide range of EVs with advanced fast-charging technology (DC 150 kW, 60 kW, and 30 kW configurations) and are strategically placed on highways, in cities, and at Hyundai dealerships to ensure seamless travel and ease of ownership.
The charging network integrates convenient amenities such as restaurants, cafes, and shopping hubs, and features high reliability with over 97% uptime supported by 24/7 CCTV and on-ground marshals during peak hours. Hyundai’s myHyundai app further enhances customer experience by providing discovery, booking, and in-car payment options across Hyundai’s own and partner charging points, enabling EV users to find and use chargers conveniently across India.
