Shikhar Dhawan, the flamboyant Indian opener, recently credited the law of attraction and visualization techniques for his remarkable achievements in cricket. Speaking about his journey, Dhawan revealed how these practices played a pivotal role in his record-breaking Test century debut and his success in the Champions Trophy.
The southpaw reminisced about his historic Test debut against Australia in 2013, where he smashed the fastest century by a debutant, scoring 187 runs off just 174 balls. "When I came in after being out, I knew I had made a record. As a debutant, I won the match and was also named Man of the Match," Dhawan shared. He highlighted how focusing on positive thoughts and visualizing success helped him stay confident and perform under pressure.
Dhawan also reflected on his contributions to India's Champions Trophy triumph in 2013, where he emerged as the tournament's leading run-scorer. "I used a lot of the law of attraction to manifest my goals," he said, emphasizing the power of mindset in achieving greatness.
Currently named the official ambassador for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, Dhawan continues to inspire fans with his philosophy of combining hard work with mental discipline.
