India has imposed anti-dumping duties on four Chinese products—Soft Ferrite Cores, vacuum insulated flasks, aluminium foil, and Trichloro Isocyanuric Acid—to protect domestic industries from cheap imports. The duties were imposed after these products were found to be exported at below normal prices, causing injury to local manufacturers. The anti-dumping duty ranges from $276 to $986 per tonne for Trichloro Isocyanuric Acid, up to 35% on Soft Ferrite Cores, $1,732 per tonne on vacuum insulated flasks, and up to $873 per tonne on aluminium foil. These measures aim to ensure fair trade practices and safeguard Indian industries.
