Mercedes-Benz expects India to rank among the world's top five markets for its ultra-luxury Maybach brand. At present, India is among Maybach's leading ten markets and has sold a cumulative 1,500 units, including half a century units in 2024 alone—145% y-o-y growth. The launch of the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series priced at ₹4.2 crore further reinforces the significance of India. Daniel Lescow, Mercedes-Maybach Head, underlined India's changing luxury segment and increased desire for bespoke luxury cars. Mercedes-Benz India will increase brand consciousness through selective lounges and outlets, opening new ones in Mumbai and Delhi.
