India Welcomes Global Delegates To Observe Its Democratic Machinery
The Election Commission of India (ECI) officially launched the International Election Visitors’ Program (IEVP) 2025 at the India International Institute for Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) in New Delhi. The program brings together 14 delegates from seven countries—France, South Africa, Belgium, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Colombia—to witness India’s electoral practices firsthand.
Delegates will observe the first phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections scheduled for November 6. The initiative includes a two-day field visit to Bihar, where participants will tour Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) dispatch centers and interact with election officials.
