Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India's largest hospitality company, has marked an impressive milestone with the addition of 100 new properties to its portfolio in FY2025. Among these, 74 have been signings and 26 hotels have opened, elevating IHCL's overall portfolio to a staggering 380 hotels.

Record Signings: IHCL acquired 74 new properties, with an industry-leading pipeline of 137 hotels. A large majority of these signings were in Gateway and Ginger brands, indicating upscale and midscale growth.
New Openings: The group opened 26 hotels in markets spread across, ranging from leisure markets such as Srinagar, Udaipur, and Diu to commercial markets like Nagpur and Coimbatore. Ginger took the lead with nine openings.
Expansion Internationally: IHCL consolidated its presence in the Middle East with expansion in Bahrain and Ras Al Khaimah, adding more than 800 keys to the region's portfolio.
Strategic Investments: Some of the strategic investments were in a 111-key Taj hotel at Cochin International Airport and new Taj hotels in Dehradun and Patna.
Creation of Jobs: On these openings, IHCL created over 2,500 direct jobs, adding to local economies and livelihoods.
This expansion is in line with IHCL's strategic plan, "Accelerate 2030," to reach a 700-hotel portfolio. The group continues to lead the way in new tourism locations and increase its footprint in spiritual and leisure travel markets.
