India's smartphone market experienced a 4% year-over-year growth in 2024, reaching 151 million units shipped. Price cuts and no-cost EMI schemes drove sales, particularly in mid-range and premium segments. Apple achieved a milestone, entering India's top 5 smartphone brands for the first time with a 10% market share in Q4. The iPhone maker shipped a record 12 million units, marking 35% YoY growth. Vivo led the market, followed by Samsung, while the average selling price rose to $259. This growth comes despite a slight 3% dip in Q4 shipments.
