India has taken a decisive step toward global 6G leadership with the launch of the Bharat 6G Alliance and the International Bharat 6G Symposium 2025. At the 9th edition of the India Mobile Congress in New Delhi, the International Bharat 6G Symposium 2025 marked a pivotal moment in the country’s journey toward becoming a global authority in 6G technology.

Inaugurated by Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia and Telecom Secretary Dr. Neeraj Mittal, the symposium showcased India’s strategic roadmap for 6G development. Organized by the Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA), the event brought together global leaders, researchers, and policymakers to chart the future of ultra-high-speed, AI-driven, and sustainable telecom networks.

The Bharat 6G Alliance signed key Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with NASSCOM and the European Space Agency (ESA), reinforcing India’s commitment to joint technology development and space-enabled 6G innovation.
