Indian breads have once again taken the world stage, with Butter Garlic Naan topping Taste Atlas' roundup of the world's 50 best breads. The fragrant, soft, and buttery flatbread scored a star rating of 4.7 and is adored globally for its perfect balance of rich garlic flavor and fluffiness. Close behind, Amritsari Kulcha came in second, esteemed for its crunchy layers and spicy filling, while Kerala Parotta followed at number six with its signature flaky, layered consistency.
 
In total, eight Indian breads made it to the elite list, underlining India's diverse and rich culinary heritage. The Traditional Naan was ranked at number eight, Paratha at 18, Bhatura at 26, Aloo Naan at 28, and Roti at 35, reflecting the popularity of Indian breads both in and outside India.
 
Taste Atlas, the global food guide, compiled the list based on thousands of reviews from experts and foodies worldwide. The sweep by Indian breads shows their global taste and popularity beyond Indian borders.
 
Whether it comes with spicy curries, dals, or tandoori dishes, these breads continue to win hearts with their unique textures and flavors, putting Indian food on the world's most-liked food list.
