DGGI’s Show Cause Notice and Timeline Details
The company said it received a pre-show cause notice on July 30, 2025, for which it requested additional time to submit an appropriate response. However, the DGGI did not grant this extension and subsequently issued a show cause notice on August 12, 2025.

The inquiry by DGGI pertains to alleged claims of ineligible ITC refunds on services exported between financial years 2018-19 and 2023-24, amounting to Rs 415 crore under scrutiny.

Infosys stated it has provided all relevant information and cooperated fully with the DGGI during the investigation, holding meetings and submitting documents as required.
