Axis Max Life has launched the BSE 500 Dividend Leaders 50 Index Fund, a passively managed equity fund tracking 50 consistent high-dividend-paying companies from the BSE 500. The fund aims to deliver steady, dividend-led returns through diversified exposure in sectors like energy, IT, commodities, and financial services.
Axis Max Life Insurance Limited introduced the BSE 500 Dividend Leaders 50 Index Fund on November 10, 2025, targeting investors seeking long-term, dividend-focused wealth creation. This passively managed index fund replicates the BSE 500 Dividend Leaders 50 Index, comprising companies that have consistently paid dividends for at least a decade, showcasing financial resilience and stable cash flows.
The fund offers policyholders exposure across 50 top dividend-yielding companies across diverse sectors such as energy (30.15%), information technology (18.20%), commodities (17.40%), utilities (10.99%), and financial services (10.40%). This sectoral diversity minimizes concentration risk and balances potential returns.
Available through various Axis Max Life ULIP offerings—including the Flexi Wealth Advantage Plan and Online Savings Plan—the fund facilitates a disciplined, transparent, and data-driven approach to passive investing. Sachin Bajaj, Executive Vice President & Chief Investments Officer of Axis Max Life, emphasized the fund's ability to provide stability combined with growth potential and the unique benefit of life insurance cover.
