Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 17 Pro in September 2025, bringing major design, camera, and performance enhancements over the iPhone 16 Pro. The biggest change? Apple is ditching titanium in favor of a lighter aluminum frame with a hybrid glass-aluminum back, improving durability and wireless charging support.
The camera system sees a significant boost, with the iPhone 17 Pro featuring a 48MP telephoto lens, replacing the 12MP sensor on the iPhone 16 Pro. The front camera also gets an upgrade to 24MP, doubling the resolution for sharper selfies and video calls.
Performance-wise, the iPhone 17 Pro will debut with Apple’s A19 Pro chip, built on an advanced 3nm process, making it faster and more power-efficient than the A18 Pro in the iPhone 16 Pro. RAM is also increased to 12GB, up from 8GB in the previous model.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 17 Pro between September 11–13, 2025, with a starting price of ₹1,39,900 in India, slightly higher than the ₹1,24,900 price tag of the iPhone 16 Pro.
