Apple's iPhone 17 series, releasing mid-September 2025, will reportedly feature a new ultra-thin "Air" model (thickness of 5.5mm) in lieu of the Plus model, alongside usual, Pro, and Pro Max models.

Most highly rumored specifications:

Screens: 6.3-inch regular (up from 6.1-inch), 6.86-inch Pro Max LTPO OLED with 120Hz refresh rate.

Cameras: Triple 48MP rear sensors (main, ultra-wide, periscope) on Pro models, with 7x optical zoom and LiDAR.

Chipsets: Pro variants A19 Pro (2nm) and standard models A19; 8GB–12GB RAM.

Battery: 4,700mAh capacity (Pro Max) with 50W fast charging.

The Pro Max might support a horizontal camera layout and hybrid aluminium-glass back, with the "Air" model maybe priced at $899. The Pro Max is reportedly priced starting at $1,199+.
