Who Must Submit the Certificate
Candidates who used PAN Card, Indian Passport, or Non-Indian Passport as their identity proof during JEE Main 2026 registration are required to submit the Photo Verification Certificate. This rule does not apply to those who used Aadhaar or DigiLocker for registration

How to Download and Complete the Certificate
Registered candidates can download the Photo Verification Certificate from the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, by logging in with their application number and password. The form must be filled with personal details, a recent passport-size photograph attached, and signed by the School/College Principal or Headmaster. The signature must partly overlap the photo for authenticity

Upload and Exam Day Instructions
The completed certificate must be scanned as a clear PDF and uploaded through the candidate login portal before January 7, 2026. Candidates must also carry a printed copy of this certificate to their exam centre for physical identity verification on the day of the exam
