Jindal Stainless' subsidiary, JSL Super Steel, has entered into a long-term power purchase agreement with Sunsure Energy, marking a significant step toward sustainable industrial operations. Under this agreement, JSL Super Steel will source eleven megawatt peak of solar power from Sunsure’s forty-nine megawatt peak solar project in Augasi, Uttar Pradesh. This move is expected to displace nearly forty percent of the facility’s conventional energy consumption with clean power.  
	
	The partnership aligns with Jindal Stainless’ broader sustainability goals, including its short-term objective of reducing fifty percent of its carbon emissions by twenty thirty-five. By integrating renewable energy into its production processes, the company aims to offset twelve million kilograms of carbon emissions annually, contributing to a greener future for the metal industry.
