JSW Infra’s Subsidiary Ennore Coal Terminal Faces GST Show Cause Notice but Holds Ground Firmly

Ennore Coal Terminal Private Limited (ECTPL), a subsidiary of JSW Infrastructure Ltd, has recently received a Show Cause Notice (SCN) dated 26th September 2025 from the Joint Commissioner, Office of The Commissioner of GST and Central Excise, Audit - II Commissionerate, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The notice alleges contraventions of the GST laws for the period April 2019 to March 2024 and demands GST of Rs. 96.58 crore along with applicable interest and penalty.
