Khelo India Youth Games 2025: Bihar Prepares for Sporting Glory

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 in Patna on May 4, as announced by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The event, spanning 12 days, will take place across five districts—Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Bhagalpur, and Begusarai—and is expected to host 8,500 athletes and 1,500 technical staff from across the country.

 

The unveiling of the event's logo and mascot, "Shubhankar," marked the beginning of preparations for this prestigious sports event. The games aim to promote sports culture in Bihar and provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their talent on a national stage. The Chief Minister emphasized the significance of the event in strengthening Bihar's sporting infrastructure and inspiring youth to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.

 

Key highlights include the participation of athletes from diverse regions, the focus on infrastructure development, and the opportunity for Bihar to emerge as a hub for sports development.
