Kuantum Papers Ltd has successfully restarted Paper Machine4 (PM4) at its flagship facility in Saila Khurd, Punjab, marking a pivotal moment in its ongoing expansion and modernization drive. The move is expected to boost production capacity by 20%, while enhancing energy efficiency and reducing operational costs.
The restart follows a strategic collaboration with Bellmer, a global leader in paper machinery, aimed at upgrading PM4 to meet rising demand for ecofriendly and highperformance paper products. The revamped machine is now equipped to handle a wider GSM range and produce specialty grades for packaging, publishing, and office use.
