Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd. has achieved a milestone with the receipt of its factory license for the new Dahej production facility, speeding up its ambitious growth in the specialty and essential chemicals business.
Key Highlights
Regulatory Milestone Met: The Dahej facility, which had already received environmental clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) Gujarat, has now received its key factory license, paving the way for construction and commissioning of the cutting-edge plant.
Strategic Expansion: Covering an area of 86 acres, the Dahej facility will have world-class infrastructure for both commodity and specialty chemicals, with the initial product mix dedicated to diketene and ketene derivatives, esters, anhydrides, and aldehyde derivatives. The facility is planned to be scalable in capacity, aiming at over 100,000 tonnes per annum in the initial phase.
Innovation and Regulatory Compliance: The new facility will have state-of-the-art safety controls and world-class manufacturing processes, further demonstrating Laxmi Organic's adherence to regulatory compliance, innovation, and customer-driven expansion.

The project is supported by a ₹7,100 million investment and will substantially increase domestic and export revenues.
Leadership Insight: CEO Dr. Rajan Venkatesh underscored that the Dahej facility represents a "stepping stone" for Laxmi Organic in its growth path, setting the company up for its next cycle of growth and increased product range.
