Linde India Limited has plans to commission its third Air Separation Unit (ASU) at Dahej, Gujarat, with the capacity to produce 245 tonnes per day (TPD) of liquid and 100 TPD of gaseous oxygen. This move comes as part of the long-term plan of Linde to set up a pipeline cluster in the Dahej area. Moreover, the firm has entered into a long-term agreement with Asian Paints (Polymers) Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Asian Paints Limited, to provide industrial gases through pipeline to their new plant at Dahej. The plant will manufacture Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM) and Vinyl Acetate Ethylene Emulsion (VAE). The deal highlights the focus of Linde on expanding the supply network of industrial gases and serving major industries in India.
