Love, Legacy, and London: The Real Spin Behind Virat and Anushka’s Big Move

Cricket legend Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma shifted to London in 2024 to escape India's relentless media glare and raise their children, Vamika and Akaay, away from the public eye, according to Dr. Sriram Nene, Madhuri Dixit's husband. In an open interview, Dr. Nene stated that the two found it difficult to revel in their glory under constant scrutiny and intrusive moments, even while eating.

 

"They just want to raise their children in a normal way," he stated, referring to their desire to have a normal family life. Although they moved, both of them still commute to India for work commitments. Kohli remains in top form playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2025, while Anushka continues with her acting profession.
