Women’s Welfare And Social Infrastructure

The Prime Minister also announced the expansion of Ima Markets—Manipur’s iconic all-women marketplaces—in four districts, reinforcing the state’s legacy of female entrepreneurship and economic participation.

Modi’s visit to Churachandpur, a Kuki-majority district, and his subsequent engagements in Imphal, the Meitei-dominated capital, were carefully choreographed to signal neutrality and unity.
