MapmyIndia recently clinched significant government contracts worth over ₹110 crore, including a five-year deal with Indian Oil Corporation Limited for a pan-India vehicle tracking system and a mandate to build the National Geo-Spatial Platform for the Survey of India, marking a major expansion in the company’s government sector presence.
MapmyIndia, the homegrown digital mapping and geospatial technology firm, announced major government contract wins totaling over ₹110 crore. The contracts include a pivotal agreement with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) valued at ₹110.19 crore to develop and operate an integrated vehicle tracking and management system for IOCL’s pan-India fleet of LPG trucks. The system will integrate IoT-based hardware, software, and 24/7 command center monitoring, aimed at optimizing fleet operations, ensuring driver safety, and vehicle security.
In addition, MapmyIndia has been tasked with developing India’s first National Geo-Spatial Platform in collaboration with the Survey of India. This platform will standardize, manage, and disseminate essential geospatial datasets such as administrative boundaries, digital elevation models, and geodetic references to promote data interoperability among government agencies, academia, and industry.
These landmark contracts significantly enhance MapmyIndia’s footprint in the government and enterprise sectors, aligning with the company’s strategy to scale its IoT solutions and geospatial offerings. MapmyIndia reported strong financial performance for H1 FY26 with 14.7% revenue growth and a robust EBITDA margin, reinforcing optimism about its growth trajectory.
