Maruti Suzuki Announces Rs 35,000 Crore Investment For New Gujarat Plant

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has unveiled plans for a massive Rs 35,000 crore investment in Gujarat, marking one of the largest expansions in the country’s automotive industry. The new plant, to be developed in Khoraj near Ahmedabad, is expected to significantly enhance production capacity and create thousands of employment opportunities.  

The facility will be built on land allotted by the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and is designed to manufacture 10 lakh vehicles annually. This expansion aligns with Maruti Suzuki’s long-term vision of raising its total production capacity to 4 million units per year, catering to rising domestic demand and growing export markets.
