Maruti Suzuki Commences Global Exports Of Victoris SUV

 Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has officially started exports of its newly launched premium SUV, Victoris, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy. Rebranded as ‘Across’ in overseas markets, the Victoris is positioned as a globally competitive product with advanced safety and technology features.  

The SUV, which embodies Maruti’s ‘Got It All’ philosophy, has earned a 5-star safety rating in both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP, reinforcing its credentials as a safe and reliable vehicle for international buyers. The export initiative highlights India’s growing role as a global production hub for automobiles.  

Key highlights from the announcement include  

• Exports commenced on January 16, 2026, from Mundra and Pipavav ports.  
• Over 450 units shipped in the first batch to more than 100 countries.  
• Victor is rebranded as ‘Across’ in overseas markets.  
• SUV features Level 2 ADAS and a 5-star safety rating.  
• Target markets include Latin America, Africa, Middle East, and Asia.  
• Maruti Suzuki handled 40% of India’s car exports in FY25, reinforcing its leadership.
