According to India Today's Gross Domestic Behaviour (GDB) survey, Tamil Nadu and Kerala have emerged as the most well-behaved states in India. The survey, which assessed civic behavior, public safety, gender attitudes, and diversity, ranked Tamil Nadu as the top performer in civic behavior, followed closely by West Bengal and Odisha. Kerala consistently ranked high across various parameters, including gender parity and public safety. These states demonstrate strong social fabric and progressive attitudes, setting them apart from others like Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, which lagged behind in the rankings. The survey highlights regional disparities and the need for education and awareness to improve civic consciousness.
