Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) announced its consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter ending December 2024 at 1.7 billion rupees. The state-owned telecom operator released its Q3 FY25 results today, as previously scheduled. This announcement comes amid recent speculation about a potential 6,000 crore rupee government package for the company, which had caused its stock to rally earlier this week. MTNL has been facing financial challenges, including a high debt burden and recent loan defaults. The company is also part of a government plan to raise 16,000 crore rupees through asset sales of state-run telecom firms.
