Mumbai’s shoreline witnessed a wave of environmental activism as 400 volunteers gathered at Juhu Beach on October 29, 2025, to remove 1,946 kg of plastic waste. The effort was part of the “Jallosh: Clean Coasts, Restore the Shore” initiative, organized by Project Mumbai, in collaboration with UNICEF India, YuWaah’s Green Rising, and supported by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Maharashtra’s State Climate Action Cell.

Citizens of all ages—including youth, children, and senior residents—participated in the early morning cleanup.
