The group’s flagship Rhino 5538 electric heavy truck, with over 5 million km clocked by customers, is a groundbreaking entry in India’s commercial EV space featuring battery swapping and advanced tech.

Murugappa has earmarked ₹3,000 crore to back its EV ambitions, funding manufacturing facilities in Manesar and Tamil Nadu, alongside product development initiatives. The group envisions establishing dominance across four clear segments: last-mile mobility, small commercial vehicles, heavy commercial vehicles, and electric tractors.

Montra Electric has made impressive strides delivering 5,000 electric passenger three-wheelers in just one year, expanding its reach across 74 markets in 17 states.
