NBCC (India) Ltd. has bagged a string of orders amounting to ₹1.72 billion, further strengthening its foothold in construction and infrastructure development. The new orders include government-funded projects in education, corporate infrastructure, and urban development.
Among the large orders, NBCC has got a ₹44 crore contract to construct a multipurpose examination hall and innovation centre in Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University, Varanasi. The Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi, has also assigned a ₹5 crore renovation contract of its academic block, Panini Bhawan, to NBCC.
The largest transaction in the round is a ₹186.46 crore corporate office renovation contract of Power Grid Corporation of India in Gurugram, Haryana. The project deals with the redesigning of the structure, enhancing the energy efficiency and operational infrastructure.
NBCC's share price has risen 120% in the past twelve months, a reflection of investors' faith in its expanding order book and strategic expansion. The company continues to secure big-ticket orders from the government, reinforcing its grip on India's urban and institutional developments.
With these fresh orders, NBCC's FY25 project pipeline is expected to be higher than previously estimated, leaving the company well-placed to achieve strong top-line growth in the next few quarters.
