There are significant advances discovered through recent research at the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) Surat. The Department of Chemistry is working towards biogenic nanoparticle synthesis from plant sources, which is found to be with potential uses in the dye degradation process, elimination of antibiotics, and the sensing of metal. Not only does this emerging approach enhance nanoparticle synthesis effectiveness but also it promotes ecofriendly procedures.
In addition, researchers are exploring the use of functionalized graphene oxide and magnetic nanoparticles for various catalytic processes, which would open the door to new waste treatment technologies. These advances say a lot about SVNIT's commitment to state-of-the-art research that tackles the issues of the contemporary environment.
