The project began commercial operations on January 13, 2026, with certification issued by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL) on January 14, 2026. This milestone marks a significant step in NTPC’s renewable energy expansion, boosting its total green capacity to over 8.3 GW.
