Google has unveiled the Pixel 9a, showcasing a refreshed design and exciting new features that set it apart from its predecessors. The smartphone, powered by the Tensor G4 processor, boasts a 6.3-inch pOLED display with a peak brightness of 2,700 nits, making it the brightest A-series phone yet.
Key design changes :
1. Camera redesign: Google has eliminated the iconic Pixel Camera Bar, opting for a minimalistic, nearly flat back. This change reduces the camera lens bump, enhancing usability and allowing the phone to slide easily into pockets.
2. Bigger battery: The redesign enabled a larger 5,100 mAh battery while maintaining the phone’s thickness, ensuring all-day performance.
3. New color option: The Pixel 9a introduces a fresh Purple Iris color, adding a playful touch to its aesthetics.
Enhanced features :
The Pixel 9a comes with an IP68 rating for improved durability, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a Titan M2 security chip for enhanced safety. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals.
Priced at ₹49,999, the Pixel 9a will be available in India starting April 16, with special launch offers including a ₹3,000 discount on select bank payments.
