PM Modi Embarks on Two-Day Malaysia Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Malaysia for a two-day official visit, his third to the country and the first since India and Malaysia upgraded their relationship to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in August 2024. The visit underscores the growing importance of bilateral ties across economic, cultural, and strategic domains.  

During the trip, Modi will hold wide-ranging discussions with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, focusing on trade, investment, digital finance, and security cooperation. He will also engage with Malaysia’s vibrant Indian diaspora, which numbers nearly 2.9 million, and participate in the 10th India–Malaysia CEO Forum, highlighting the emphasis on business and investment collaboration.
