Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Ltd (PIGL) has secured a significant turnkey contract worth ₹345.6 million (₹34.56 crore) from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL). The project involves supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of material and equipment to enhance power distribution infrastructure at Salumbar Circle in Rajasthan under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
Power and Instrumentation (Gujarat) Limited, a prominent player in the electrical contracting and infrastructure sector, announced that it has won a ₹345.6 million order from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited. The contract forms part of the Government of India’s RDSS aimed at modernizing and strengthening the power distribution network in Rajasthan.
The scope includes segregation of 11 KV mixed feeders at the Salumbar Circle of Ajmer Discom, executed on a turnkey basis encompassing supply, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of power distribution equipment. The project is scheduled for completion within 15 months, reflecting a robust pipeline of work for the company.
This order follows Power and Instrumentation’s earlier success in August 2025 when it secured a ₹705.5 million contract from AVVNL, reinforcing the client’s confidence in the company’s execution capabilities and reliability. Managing Director Padmaraj Padmanabhan Pillai emphasized that this repeat contract validates PIGL's operational strength and commitment to quality delivery in challenging terrains.
The contract is expected to positively impact the company’s revenue stream and market position as it contributes to the electrification and modernization drives crucial for the region’s development.
