Production Commencement in Dabhel: Rajshree Polypack Ltd, a leading manufacturer of rigid and semi-rigid plastic sheets and food packing solutions, has begun commercial production at its newly commissioned manufacturing facility in Dabhel. This strategic investment is intended to increase the company's production capacity and address growing demand from local and international customers, particularly the food and FMCG sectors.
Capacity and Technology: The Dabhel plant houses advanced extrusion and forming capabilities, which cater to a broad range of products such as yogurt cups, coffee cups, trays, and lids. The combined extrusion capacity of the company currently is around 24,000 MTPA, with forming capacity of over 10,000 MTPA, after recent expansion plans sanctioned by the board.
Recent Orders and Expansion: Rajshree Polypack has recently received major orders from a top US-based distributor for injection-moulded food packaging items, solidifying its export kitty further. The company's solid client base comprises major brands like Amul, Kellogg's, Tata Tea, Mother Dairy, Reliance, Ferrero, and Nestle.
Financial Performance: Amidst industry challenges, Rajshree Polypack achieved a 12% quarter-on-quarter revenue growth in Q3FY25, supported by improved order volumes and capacity utilization. The future revenues and profitability will be supported by the new Dabhel unit.
Sustainability Focus: The company is dedicated to green manufacturing, with plants having the ability to manufacture recyclable and compostable packaging, and collaborations for waste collection and recycling.
Outlook: The commissioning of the Dabhel unit is a turning point in the growth story of Rajshree Polypack, well-poised to benefit from newer opportunities in India's rapidly changing packaging sector.
