India has launched its first dedicated blood donation app, Raktsetu, during the Raktdan Utsav 2025 held at Maharaja Agrasen Bhawan in Hisar, Haryana. The event, led by spiritual leader Astro Parduman, marked a fusion of digital innovation and humanitarian service, collecting over 200 units of blood by midday.

  • Raktsetu is now live on Android and connects donors, hospitals, NGOs, and patients in real time through digital registration, live donor tracking, and automated alerts.
  • The app was developed by Ek Kadam Zindagi ki Aur NGO, founded by Shri Manoj Khandelwal and Shri Rakesh Khandelwal, with support from Shri Vishal and Shri Manmohan Singhla.
