Ramco Systems Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The ePlane Company to integrate aviation software into electric air mobility platforms. The collaboration aims to enhance maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency for ePlane’s upcoming electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
Ramco Systems Ltd, a global enterprise software provider, has entered into a strategic MoU with The ePlane Company, a Chennai-based startup developing electric air taxis for urban mobility. The partnership will see Ramco’s aviation software deployed to manage maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations for ePlane’s eVTOL fleet.
The ePlane Company, founded in 2019, is a Series B startup focused on building compact electric aircraft for intra-city travel. With a valuation of ₹384 crore and backing from investors like Speciale Invest and Micelio, the company is preparing for commercial rollout in the coming years. Ramco’s software will provide real-time visibility into aircraft health, streamline compliance, and support predictive maintenance.
