RBI Releases 45th Quarterly Services & Infrastructure Outlook Survey for Q1 2025-26

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the 45th round of the Quarterly Services and Infrastructure Outlook Survey (SIOS) for the reference quarter April-June 2025. The survey focuses on evaluating business conditions in the services and infrastructure industries, which will offer fresh insights into demand, financial conditions, employment outlook, and prices.
 
Survey Objectives & Scope
  • The survey assesses prevailing business conditions and expectations for the upcoming quarter (Q2:2025-26).
  • It captures qualitative feedback from a sample of companies in the services and infrastructure industries.
Extended Outlook for Future Quarters
  • The survey also includes forecasts for Q3 and Q4 of FY 2025-26, providing a long-term industry outlook.
  • Results will be published in aggregate form, maintaining confidentiality of respondents.
Survey Administration & Participation
  • M/s Median Research and Consulting Pvt. Ltd. has been authorized to conduct the survey on behalf of the RBI.
  • Companies in the services and infrastructure sectors are encouraged to participate by downloading the questionnaire from RBI’s website.
Data Collection & Analysis
  • The survey gathers insights on demand conditions, financial stability, employment trends, and price movements.
  • The results will help policymakers fine-tune economic strategies based on sectoral feedback.
