S Chand and Company Limited has completed the acquisition of the residual 49% equity holding in BPI (India) Private Limited for ₹41.6 million. The strategic acquisition, announced on 7th February, 2025, makes BPI India a wholly-owned subsidiary of S Chand, strengthening the company's hold in the educational publishing industry.

The move comes as S Chand continues to exhibit encouraging growth patterns, with analysts predicting a 23.7% average annual earnings growth rate for the next three years. The company's shares closed at ₹169.51 on March 26, 2025, an indication of investor interest in its growth strategy.
