Shaastra 2026: IIT Madras’ Tech Carnival Returns Jan 2–6

IIT Madras will host Shaastra 2026, one of Asia’s largest student-run technical festivals, from January 2–6, 2026. The five-day event will feature 80+ competitions, 130 innovation stalls, global conferences, and cultural evenings. Entirely student-managed, Shaastra is expected to draw over 80,000 visitors, celebrating science, technology, and creativity at scale.
