Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) has announced that it has been awarded a Letter of Award (LOA) for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) along with Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of a ground-mounted solar power project with a capacity of 21 MW AC / 29.4 MW DC. This project is part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana-2.0 (MSKVY 2.0), a government initiative aimed at promoting solar energy use in agriculture to provide daytime electricity to farmers and boost rural energy independence.
The order value stands at approximately INR 26.17 crore (excluding taxes). The project is scheduled to be completed within the financial year 2025-26, adhering to the terms of the contract. This development reinforces Waaree’s growing footprint in India’s renewable energy sector, particularly in domestic solar EPC projects.
This latest contract complements Waaree’s recent major wins, including a ₹114.22 crore LOA for a 94 MW AC / 131.6 MW DC solar project under the same MSKVY 2.0 scheme, reflecting the company’s strong execution capabilities and commitment to India’s renewable energy goals.
