Audience Reactions & Overseas Buzz
  • Dhanush's role as a money specter-turned-beggar has won massive praise for its emotionality and curve of transformation.
  • The film earned $900K in North America on Day 1, which is a sign of strong overseas traction.
  • Dhanush, who arrived accompanied by his son Linga, saw the first-day-first-show at Chennai, where fans went berserk in celebration.
Sitaare Zameen Par's Slower Start
  • Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par received good buzz but trailed behind expectations in opening day collections
  • The film is bound to pick up over the weekend due to unprecedented critical acclaim and family rating.
With Kuberaa as the 5th biggest Tollywood opener of 2025, Dhanush has once again established his pan-India relevance, setting stage for a blockbusting weekend to come.
