Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful de-docking of SpaDeX satellites. This success is a landmark in India's space mission, making the country a world leader in space technology. Shah pointed out that this success speeds up Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plan to construct India's own space station, along with missions such as Chandrayaan 4 and Gaganyaan. The SpaDeX mission with two satellites, SDX-1 and SDX-2, showcased autonomous rendezvous and docking, thus making India the fourth country to do so after the U.S., Russia, and China.
