Hexco, JKIPL’s subsidiary, has inked an exclusive distribution agreement with a leading African equipment dealer for its HexL brand across Southern Africa. The confidential partner is a decades-old market leader. The pact ensures marketing, sales, and service, with targets and milestones, expected to boost Hexco’s African revenues and profitability.
Jinkushal Industries Limited (JKIPL) announced today that its subsidiary, Hexco, has signed an exclusive Distributor Agreement with one of Africa’s largest equipment dealers for the construction equipment brand “HexL.” The deal covers South Africa and adjoining Southern African territories, marking Hexco’s first major entry into the African market under its own brand.
While JKIPL has temporarily withheld the distributor’s identity to protect competitive interests, the partner is described as a long-established and influential regional player with decades of operational experience. The agreement, finalised on 13 October 2025, encompasses distribution, marketing, and after-sales support, backed by minimum annual sales commitments and performance milestones.
Company officials emphasise that this alliance represents a transformative step for Hexco, taking it from a zero-revenue base in Africa to anticipated incremental and recurring earnings over the medium term. Exclusive territorial rights are expected to ensure focused channel development, higher market penetration, and improved operating leverage.
