SpiceJet is set to revolutionize its operations this winter with plans to more than double its fleet size and triple its available seat kilometers (ASKM) by November 2025. The airline will operate 250 daily flights this winter, more than doubling its summer schedule to meet rising travel demand.
SpiceJet is embarking on an ambitious winter expansion plan as it prepares for the upcoming peak travel season. As part of this strategic move, the airline will almost triple its available seat kilometers (ASKM) and more than double its operational fleet by November 2025. The expansion is fueled by the addition of 20 new aircraft—comprising an Airbus A340 wide-body and multiple Boeing 737s—operated under a damp lease model.
Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh highlighted that this fleet ramp-up not only boosts capacity but also strengthens operational capabilities and opens new routes across India and beyond. The airline plans to operate 250 daily flights this winter, significantly increasing from its summer schedule, reflecting robust travel demand.
Along with adding new routes, SpiceJet will also reinstate four previously grounded aircraft by mid-December, further enhancing connectivity.
