Sterlite Technologies Ltd (STL) has announced a significant enhancement in its partnership with UK-based telecommunications company Netomnia, pledging to offer comprehensive end-to-end Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) connectivity solutions. This deepened collaboration aims to accelerate the full-fibre broadband rollout across the United Kingdom, facilitating ultra-fast, reliable internet access to millions of homes and businesses.

STL will now provide complete FTTH solutions to Netomnia, covering everything from fiber manufacturing to network design, optical connectivity, and deployment technologies.

 

The expanded partnership builds on STL's existing track record of delivering approximately 12,000 circuit kilometers of optical fiber cable and connecting nearly 850,000 premises in the UK.

 

Netomnia, the sixth largest network provider in the UK, plans to reach 500,000 homes and businesses annually with ultra-fast broadband, aiming to connect 2 million premises by 2025.

 

STL’s innovative glass-to-gigabit fiber solutions include the use of lightweight, optimized G.657 A2 micro tube optical fiber cables, enhancing cost efficiency and deployment speed.
