Sunita Tools Limited has received a significant Letter of Intent (LOI) to supply 100,000 cases for 155mm artillery shells annually. This major contract marks a pivotal entry for the company into the defence sector, leveraging its expertise in precision engineering. The order, valued between $23 million and $35 million, is expected to be fulfilled within one year after prototype approval. Sunita Tools has been granted eight months to scale up production capacity. The company's subsidiary, Tripathi Aerotech & Weapons Systems, played a crucial role in securing this LOI. This development positions Sunita Tools for significant growth in defence manufacturing, both domestically and globally.
