Swiggy Instamart has expanded its quick-commerce service to 76 cities as of January 2025, with plans to scale further. The platform, offering 10-minute deliveries for nearly 50,000 products, is set to launch a standalone app to enhance accessibility alongside its presence in Swiggy’s unified app. CEO Sriharsha Majety highlighted Instamart’s potential to surpass food delivery in scale, targeting 100 million+ users. Swiggy aims to increase its dark store count to 1,046 by March 2025, up from 609 in late 2024, to bolster operational reach. The standalone app will retain Swiggy One loyalty benefits, ensuring seamless adoption. While current expansion covers 76 cities, Swiggy’s aggressive growth strategy signals a roadmap toward 100 cities, aligning with India’s booming quick-commerce demand.
